Audition 3 - Mazda
So I had an audition for a Japanese Mazda commercial this morning at 10:55am. Went very well. I was a bit tired when I got up 'cuz my friend got in around 1am from a commercial he shot in Arizona, and came over to watch "the Sopranos" which I had TiVO'd, but got my energy up real high and did about as well on the audition as I could have, methinks.I'm now at work and will have to stay late tonight to make up the time I missed. Arrived around 12:30pm this afternoon and am starting to crash. Need some Mtn. Dew or something.
Hope I get a callback for this commercial. If there's anything to be said for getting your energy up, I'll get a callback, 'cuz my energy was REALLY high. I pretty much spent the whole time driving from Sherman Oaks to Hollywood getting myself all psyched up and energized. By the time I got there, I was overflowing with energy but had it under complete control. Dee's big on the whole energy thing and I really took what I've been learning in her class and applied it here. Hope that came through on camera.
I think working up all that energy has left me depleted 'cuz I feel really spent and it's hard for me to concentrate here at work.
The waiting room was filled with models. I'm SO not a model but I'm thinking that might work in my favor as (at least with the group I was with) my acting skills were able to shine a bit more brightly.
We'll see what happens.
