Audition 4 - Burger King
Went to an audition for BK last Friday (April 16). Was alright. Had tried to memorize the script the day before and had rehearsed the thing to death, but when I actually auditioned for it, the script was changed a bit and the direction I received from the woman running the session changed my whole take on the commercial so I don't think my performance was all that good. Gotta remember to just be in the moment and not rely on rehearsal so much.Was kinda cool though - the assistant taking polaroids and signing people in at the casting office was someone I'd met through my friend Michael. Her name's Megan and I'd seen her work in some sketch comedy type shows around Hollywood. Really funny and cute. She said she'd keep my headshot and give it to the casting agent, Kari Peyton, who is another awesome person I've met before. Networking at work! My poor audition notwithstanding, hopefully this connection will lead to more auditions and eventually, bookings.
