Rainbow connection

I saw one of the most amazing rainbows I've ever seen in my life today. I was driving to work, making my way over Coldwater Canyon, from West Hollywood to the Valley, anxious and miserable from the torrent of rain that had been pouring down since the previous night, when all of a sudden, there was a break in the clouds, the rain stopped and an immense rainbow arced across the sky. It was amazing. I could actually see the end of the rainbow as I got into the Valley and made my way toward the 101 fwy. One of the ends of the rainbow touched down 50 yards in front of me. I could see as cars drove through it, as it was reflected in the spray from their tires. Even on the freeway, I could see the rainbow, right in front of me. At one point I spontaneously teared up, it was such an amazing sight. After about ten minutes of this, more dark clouds came in and it started pouring again, but my good mood didn't break all the way into work. I was almost feeling God, I think.
