New projects
It has been a productive week.Wednesday night I brainstormed ideas for a short with a friend from acting class, Kurtis Bedford. Although the bs session wasn't quite as fruitful as I'd hoped, and it's still up in the air how well we can work together, we're both committed to doing something, so I remain hopeful.
Thursday John Keating and I met for dinner at Casa Vega in the Valley and talked about doing a comic book based on a script of his (we've bounced this idea around before, but last night I really felt like we had finally started the whole process beyond it being just a fun idea). I brought some preliminary sketches and we basically got each other really excited about doing it. I think we'll work well together. The comic excitement, and the hostess thinking we were gay were the highlights of the night. "Would you two like to sit on the same side of the table?" Classic.
